How do I add a new item in MyProperty?
To add a property, please click the red “+” button shown in the top right corner of the page. *Every page on MyAssets has that button, so you can click that button whenever you want to add an item to your portfolio.
After clicking the red “+” button, you will see this pop-up window:
The left side of the window will show you your tabs of information fields you will need to fill out to add a property in your MyAssets account.
The Primary Details tab will require details like Property Name, Address, and Type. You can also add details like Purchase Date, ownership type, purchase price, current valuation and other important details of your property. Other optional features can be adding your property to an existing Group and placing notes.
When you click on the “Additional Details” tab, you will see four subcategories below - Acquisition, Location, Configuration, and Ownership.
Acquisition is where you will list down information about how you took ownership of the property. You can include details like price, date, seller, and other cost related.
In Location, you can specify the information of the address of your property.
Configuration allows you to record details like lot and floor area, number of bedrooms, car parks, bedrooms etch.
Ownership discloses how many percentage of the property belongs to you and if it shared among stakeholders. You can also list down beneficiaries of the property in this subcategory.
The last tab in the left side of the window is for Attachments, where you can add digital files like titles, receipts, and other documents you want to include in this list.

What specifications/details can I set per item in MyProperty?
There are five tabs of information fields that you can use to define or describe your properties. You have the Primary Details and the four Additional Details subcategories - Acquisition, Location, Configuration, Ownership.
- Primary Details - Basic information. You can input details like Property Name and Property Type.
- Acquisition - How you took ownership of the property. You can include details like price, date, seller, or whether you acquired it directly or through an auction. Other costs can also be included for a more accurate description of the money spent to acquire this property.
- Location - You can use this to specify information about the address of your property.
- Configuration - Define lot area, floor area, number of rooms, car parks, and other features.
- Ownership - describe the percentage of ownership of the property. You can also use this to list down beneficiaries of the property.
How do I edit an item in MyProperty?
To edit the details in your property, you have to select the item on the MyProperty homepage. you can also select it when you click "Search MyProperties".
Once there, you will see a menu button on the top right corner of the page, shown in the red box in the image below. You can click it to reveal the menu of actions you can make on the item.
As shown above, you can edit details, add valuation and offer, mark the place as sold, archive or delete the property.
- Edit Property - This option allows you to make changes in the details you initially listed when you created the listing.
- Valuation - This action allows you to update the current assessment of your property. It will reflect on your net worth, both in the MyProperty home page and your My Account homepage.
- Offer - This is for listing down the offers your potential buyers present for your property. You can include details like the offer number, offer date, buyer, type and offer price. Optional features are notes and files that you want to upload.
- Mark as Sold - When you sell off your property, you can choose this action so the sale will be reflected in your net worth. You can input details like sale title, sale type, sale date, sale price and other details related to its selling.
How do I sort items in MyProperty?
To sort the items in your property list, you need to go to the "Search MyProperties" Page (shown below). You can do it by clicking on the icon and arriving at the MyProperty Homepage. On the top left corner of the page, you will see the “Search MyProperties” and you can click on it.
As shown above, you can sort properties by Name, Type, Total Price, and Asset Value.
How do archive an item from MyProperty?
To archive the details in your property, you have to select the item on the MyProperty homepage. you can also select it when you click "Search MyProperties".
Once there, you will see a 3 dotted line button on the top right corner of the page, click that as per image below then choose "Archive"
A pop up message below would appear. If you have items on the place, you would first need relocate them.
Once you clicked "Relocate Assets & Archive", pop up below would appear:
Once done, click "Relocate Assets & Archive".
How do delete an item from MyProperty?
To delete the details in your property, you have to select the item on the MyProperty homepage. you can also select it when you click "Search MyProperties".
Once there, you will see a 3 dotted line button on the top right corner of the page, click that as per image below then choose "Delete"
A pop up message below would appear, if you have items on the place, you would first need relocate them.
Once you clicked "Relocate Assets & Delete", pop up below would appear:
Once done, click "Relocate Assets & Delete".
In MyProperty, how is the value displayed per property determined?
The value displayed per property in your MyProperty list is initially determined by the Purchase Price that you put under Acquisition when you created the item. But the value can be changed by two things: Valuations and Ownership.
If a Valuation entry is added, the value displayed will be changed based on the latest Valuation.
Also, Ownership comes into play. For example, if My Ownership percentage is set to 80%, the value displayed will be 80% of the set Purchase Price or Valuation (if added). Note that no decimals are displayed (value displayed is rounded off).
How do I add a photo in MyProperty?
To add a photo in your property, you have to select the item on the MyProperty homepage. you can also select it when you click "Search MyProperties".
Once there click the "Add more" button as per image below:
After clicking the button, you’ll see a pop-up window where you can drag and drop the photo/s you want to add and click upload. Just be mindful of the format and size of the images you want to upload. Make sure that the image files are in .jpg, .jpeg or .png format and size does not exceed 24mb.
What is Financial Summary?
Financial Summary reflects the summation of all Property Income transactions and Property Expense transactions respectively. This of course includes recurring transactions. Be careful when deleting a transaction, as this affects the Financial Summary.
What is Asset Value?
Asset Value is the total amount/value of assets in that property.
What is Property Assets?
Property assets is the assets located in that property of yours. *Note: You can connect or add this item on your MyProperty as long as it is logged or within the datum of your MyAssets platform.
Can I export listings to 3rd party sites like Craigslist or Airbnb?
MyAssets cannot export listings to 3rd party sites. The aim of MyAssets is geared more towards private recording and management of assets, with the assurance of high-level security and absolute confidentiality. However, we might have a per-item share function available in the future.
