MyBelongings Summary

Welcome to MyAssets, the assets management tool designed for you.

MyBelongings is a place to retain valuable information about your assets that don’t fall under the categories of finance, real estate property, or collectibles like art and wine.

Many of our users keep records of their assets within their homes, such as furniture, electronics, and other important items. Some do it for insurance purposes, while some do it just to have an organized tracker of their possessions.

We offer this tool to help you track the value of the belongings you have accumulated over the years and see the percentage of the “stuff” in your overall wealth.

You can look for MyBelongings when you click on the  icon on the left side bar. That button will bring you to the MyBelongings Homepage. The picture below is a sample of the MyBelongings homepage when you have placed your own.

The homepage shows a clear picture of the value of your belongings, along with the breakdown type of your MyBelongings. If you scroll further, you would see image below:

Location of your Belongings and the different items that you have added would be seen here. 

Add a new item

To add items in your MyBelongings list click the large “+” button on the upper right corner of the screen.

Once you click on the button, a pop-up window similar to the one below will appear. It will have information fields that you can use to create detailed items on your Belongings list. 

As you can see in the image above, the first tab is about the Primary Details of the belonging you want to list down. You can list down the name, purchase date, belonging type, number of items and other details. 

Other information like its acquisition, location, attributes and ownership can be placed in additional details. You may also add documents and pictures on the attachment portion. 

Once done, you may click "Create" to add item on your MyBelongings.

Adding Item in Bulk

To add a new items in bulk, go to MyBelongings and click the download icon as per image below:

You may download the template in uploading in bulks and you would also upload it on this portion.

Editing an item

To edit an item in your MyBelongings, click "Search MyBelongings" as per image below then click item that you wish to edit.

Once item to be edited has been chosen, click the 3 dotted line on the upper right hand corner of your screen as per image below then click "Edit".

Once edit has been done, click "Update" and you would see a pop up notification on the lower left hand of your screen once asset has been updated.

Deleting an item

If you wish to delete an item in your MyBelongings, click "Search MyBelongings" then click the small white box on the left side of the item that you wish to delete. If you have clicked the item, item would turn blue as per image below and above it; there is a note on how many asset you have selected. 

Once clicked, the trash icon would appear as per image below. 

A confirmation pop up would appear like image below; click "Delete" to confirm.

You can also delete my clicking the specific item on "Search MyBelongings" then on the upper right hand corner of your screen, click the 3 dotted lines then choose "Delete".
