How to add items in Art?
You can add items by clicking the large red “+” button on the upper right corner of the screen.
Once clicked, a pop-up window like image below will show and you will be asked to fill out two tabs of information.
First, the Primary Details and the subcategories under Additional Details - Acquisition, Location, Attributes and Ownership.
For the Primary Details, you’ll be required to fill in the details for the artist name, artist title, art type, purchase date, purchase price, current valuation. You may also place other optional details such as art style, groups, and other details.
Once you click the Additional Details tab, you will see information fields for Acquisition, Location, Attributes and Ownership.
Acquisition is where you will list down information about how you took ownership of the property. You can include details like acquisition type, price, date, seller, and invoice number. Other costs can also be included for a more accurate description of the money spent to acquire this property.
In Location, you can specify the information of the address of your property.
The Attributes fields are for details like physical measurements, edition, provenance, geography, inscriptions, descriptions, catalogue text and date of execution.
Ownership allows you to set how much of the property you own so it will be specifically detailed in your total assets and liabilities summary, as well as who are the beneficiaries of the item.
Once you filled out the necessary information, you just need to click “Create” to save the details in your MyAssets profile.
The value of the art piece will be reflected on your overall MyAssets Global Dashboard, alongside with your other possessions.
How to add items in Art by bulks and how to download its template?
To add a new items in bulk, go to Art summary and click the download icon as per image below:

What specifications/details can I set per item in Art?
You can specify a range of attributes and details in order to thoroughly define/describe your art collection items by filling in all relevant fields in all tabs. When adding a new art item, a list of selections/tabs will be available for you to use as necessary:
Primary Details – Basic information. Provide required information like Artist name, Art title and Purchased date.
Acquisition – Acquisition is the process of obtaining a valid title to an artwork. Works may be acquired through various methods for the purpose of accessioning into the collection or acquisition. This is where you fill in the Acquisition Type and basic transaction fields available, such as seller, purchase price, purchase date, invoice number and other cost.
Location – Define the storage location of the art item and you may place other specific details such as its room and position.
Attributes – In this portion, you may place specific measurement details of your item. Provenance, geography, inscription, description, catalogue text and date executed can also be placed here.
Ownership – Defines ownership percentage and beneficiaries.
After successfully adding an item, the art details page offers other widgets where you can provide further information if relevant. These include: valuation, offers, consignment, exhibitions, and literature.
How do I delete a item from Art?
To delete an item in Art, click it among the options below:
Once clicked, you can either click the Art that you wish to edit on its main page.
On the upper right side on your screen click the 3 dotted lines and click "Delete".
Click "Delete" to confirm.
or click "Search my Art" as per image below:
Once there, click the small white box on the left side of the item that you wish to delete. If you have clicked the item, item would turn blue as per image below and above it; there is a note on how many asset you have selected.
Once clicked, the trash icon would appear as per image below.
A confirmation pop up would appear like image below; click "Delete" to confirm.
How to edit the item details in Art?
To edit an item, you need to find the Art item you want to edit first. You can go to your Art Summary where you will see all the art items you have added into your account and click it there or you may search item in "Search My Art".
Once you see the item and have clicked it, click the 3 dotted lines on the upper right corner of your screen and click "Edit".
Do the necessary changes that you want to edit then don't forget to click "Update" to save changes.
How do I add value to an item in Art?
In the Art in My Collections section, you can add actions on your items. You can do things like add valuations or offers, mark your items as sold, or also archive items from your collection.
Click the 3 dotted line on the top right corner of the details page (as shown in the image above) to reveal the edit options for the item. Click on the “Add Valuation” option to open up a window where you can input details about the value of your item. Don't forget to click "Create" to save changes.
How do I offer to an item in Art?
Go to item that you wish to add an offer, click the 3 dotted line on the top right corner of the details page (as shown in the image below) Click on the “Add Offer” option to open up a window where you can input details about the offer on your item. Don't forget to click "Create" to save changes.
How do I add consignment to an item in Art?
Go to item that you wish to add consignment, click the 3 dotted line on the top right corner of the details page (as shown in the image below) Click on the “Add Consignment” option to open up a window where you can input details about the consignment on your Art. Don't forget to click "Create" to save changes.
How do I add exhibition to an item in Art?
Go to item that you wish to add exhibition, click the 3 dotted line on the top right corner of the details page (as shown in the image below) Click on the “Add Exhibition” option to open up a window where you can input details about the exhibition details on your Art. Don't forget to click "Create" to save changes.
How do I add literature to an item in Art?
Go to item that you wish to add literature, click the 3 dotted line on the top right corner of the details page (as shown in the image below) Click on the “Add Literature” option to open up a window where you can input details about the literature details on your Art. Don't forget to click "Create" to save changes.
How to mark item in Art as sold?
Go to item that you wish to mark as sold, click the 3 dotted line on the top right corner of the details page (as shown in the image below) Click on the “Mark as sold” option to open up a window where you can input details about sale of your item. Don't forget to click "Save and close" to save changes.
How do I add a photo to an item in Art?
To add a photo to an item in Art, locate the item then click it to go to its details page.
On the gallery widget of the details page, you will see an “Add More” button on the right side of the screen (shown below).
Click on the button to see a pop-up window where you can upload the photo/s you want to add to the item.
How to export in Art?
To export your items in Art, go to "Search My Art" and click image below:
Once clicked click "Generate & Download".
How to view Art in list view?
To view your art in list view, go to "Search My Art" and click list icon as per image below:
How to view Arts using filters?
To be able to filter items on your Arts, go to Search My Art and click image on right corner of your screen as per image below:
Once clicked, below are the options that you are able to use to filter your Art. Click the "+" button for your options.
Just place a check to be able to filter as you wish.
