What items do I add in MyCollectables?
MyCollectables is a place for you to be able to place your collections such as Arts, Wine & Spirits. For other collections that you may have, you may place this in Other Collectables.
We offer this tool for you to be able to compile and gather all your collections in one place to maintain organization and be able to see if this has grown wealth over time.
How do I add a new item in MyCollectables?
To add an in MyCollectables, click on the left side of your screen.
To add in Art, choose it among option below:
Click the large “+” button on the upper right corner of the screen. Once you click on the button, a pop-up window similar to the one below will appear. It will have information fields that you can use to create detailed items on your Art collectable.
As you can see in the image above, the first tab is about the Primary Details of the Art you want to list down. You can search among the list provided the Artist name or create an artist name, Purchase date, Art title, Purchase price, Art type, Current Valuation and other details.
Other information like its acquisition, location, attributes and ownership can be placed in additional details. You may also add documents and pictures on the attachment portion.
Once done, you may click "Create" to add item on your Art in MyCollectables.
To add in Wine & Spirits, choose it among option below:
Click the red “+” button shown in the top right corner of the page. You can click that button whenever you want to add an item to your portfolio.
After clicking the red “+” button, you will see this pop-up window:
If you choose "Create from global catalogue”, you will need to type the name of wine/spirit on magnifying glass below then click enter:
Once you see the wine you wish to add on the selection, on the right side of that, click the “+” button and image below would appear:
The left side of the window will show you your tabs of information fields you will need to fill out to add chosen wine/spirit in your My Assets account. Since you have chosen from global catalogue, you would just need to fill up required fields that are blank to enable the Create button.
Once done, you may click "Create" to add item on your Wine & Spirits in MyCollectables.
If you choose “Create manually”, same format above goes however, you will need to manually input all details required to be able to create and add this to your Wine & Spirits collectables.
Other information like its acquisition, location, attributes and ownership can be placed in additional details. You may also add documents and pictures on the attachment portion.
Once done, you may click "Create" to add item on your Wine & Spirits in MyCollectables.
What specs/details can be set per item in MyCollectables?
The MyCollectables tool allows you to be descriptive of your possessions.
For Arts:
You can also click on the Additional Details tab on the left to go to other information fields you can use to describe your item. Under that tab, you will see Acquisition, Location, Attributes and Ownership.
Acquisition is the process of obtaining valid title to an artwork. Works may be acquired through various methods for the purpose of accessioning into the collection or acquisition without accessioning for purposes outlined in this policy. This is where you fill in the Acquisition Type and basic transaction fields available, such as acquisition type, purchase price, purchase date, seller, invoice number and other cost related to it.
In Location, the storage location of the art item and other information like where room it is place on the location and in what position
For Attributes, this define the qualities and features of the art item, such as measurement, edition and other details related to its attributes.
In ownership, you may indicate how many percentage is yours and your beneficiaries.
For Wine & Spirits:
You can also click on the Additional Details tab on the left to go to other information fields you can use to describe your item. Under that tab, you will see Acquisition, Location, Attributes and Ownership.
Acquisition is the process of obtaining your wine/spirit bottle/s whether direct or through an auction. Details like its pricing method, purchase date, number of bottles, seller/retailer, bottle price, invoice number and other cost may me placed here.
In Location, the storage location of the wine/spirit bottle/s and other information like where room it is place on the location and what bin/shelf
For Attributes, this define the qualities and features of the wine/spirit, such as the type, country, region, vineyard, master varietal, variety, appellation, designation and pro rating.
In ownership, you may indicate how many percentage is yours and your beneficiaries.
How do I delete an item in MyCollectables?
For Arts:
You may click on the Art summary or click "Search my Art" as per screenshot below.
Once clicked, it would show you the different collections you have on Arts, click the one you would wish to delete. Once clicked, on the upper right hand of your screen you would see 3 dotted line as per image below then click "Delete".
A confirmation pop up would appear like image below; click "Delete" to confirm.
For Wine & Spirits:
To delete a Wine & Spirits, go to the “Search” and click the wine/spirit that you wish to delete, once there, you will see a menu button on the top right corner of the page, shown in the red box in the image below and choose “Delete".
How do I edit an item in MyCollectables?
For Arts:
You may click on the Art summary or click "Search my Art" as per screenshot below.
Once clicked, it would show you the different collections you have on Arts, click the one you would wish to edit. Once clicked, on the upper right hand of your screen you would see 3 dotted line as per image below then click "Edit".
Image below would appear, edit what you wish to edit then once done click "Update".
For Wine & Spirits:
As of now, there is no edit portion but you may add tasting notes or add bottles to your existing wine/spirit on your MyCollectables.
To add tasting notes, go to the “Search”, click one you wish to add tasting notes.
Once there, you will see a menu button on the top right corner of the page, shown in the red box in the image below:
Once clicked, image below would appear, click "Create" to save your tasting notes.
To add bottles to your existing Wine & Spirits, Click "Search" as per image below. You would see the list of your wines and its other details:
Click the "Scroll down button" on the left side of name, then clicked 3 dotted lines on right side then click "Add bottles"
Once you click "Add bottles", image below would appear, once done, click "Create" to update/edit.
Deleting an item
For Arts:
You may click on the Art summary or click "Search my Art" as per screenshot below.
Once clicked, it would show you the different collections you have on Arts, click the one you would wish to delete. Once clicked, on the upper right hand of your screen you would see 3 dotted line as per image below then click "Delete".
